The GTR is 84k over here and the porsche is 140k so yeah its still a big price difference over here. But we all have our different reasons for the cars we buy or would buy…. @Nik84811 Ok ok, I thought you found the gtr a hideous car , but you from USA?, because a porsche is like 140K there right? here in Holland it is 240k in euro! so that is like almost 300k in dollars. That is my point and the gtr is here 125k in euros 160k in dollars. Because of the price difference i would go for the GTR.

@lollerrr89 wrong place and still make it have superior handling up until now is a tremendous achievement. Overall both cars are awesome and the GTR does look good as well as the Porsche. I would still buy the 911 over any other car but thats just because this car is my dream car and I love it so much. And thats probably how you feel about the GTR. ….

@lollerrr89 I can say a lot of things right now but i am only going to say one. I think the GTR is an amazing technological advanced car. I think it’s amazing that nissan was able to create a front engined rear wheel drive car that could be a porsche 911 turbo on the nuhburing (or whatever it’s called). I will give it that. Also if this makes any difference the porsche 911 turbo is also faster. 193mph vs 194mph. And i want to go back to that post you posted a week ago when you said “I have seen 2 gtr’s on the road and porsche’s like couple hundred times.” Thats because no one knows about the GTR because it HAS NO STATUS- ITS A NISSAN FOR CHRIST’S SAKE- and because people in your area can afford a more expensive, more practical 911 turbo. Sorry!

At least you can tell the 911 is a sports car compared to the GTR which just looks like a suped up 350z. And yes you would see “2 Porsches 911 gt something” because they have 20 variations of the Porsche 911. While im on that point im going to include that you can also buy a convertible 911 unlike the GTR. Just wanted to bring that into the argument. By the way the 911 turbo gets better gas milieage as well. 15/21-GTR vs 16/24 and 17/25-Porsche 911.

@lollerrr89 WELLLLLLLLLL The GTRRRRRRRRRR wouldn’t be here without the porsche 911 so obviously the porsche 911 is superior (and the gt2 will always be quicker than the GTR). Porsche 911 is the best and has brought revolutionary technologies to the sports car industry. As well as showing that a very small sports car (that is fairly cheap) with its engine in the wrong place has potential. Porsche 911 all the way.
