Question by t_a_v_o: I have a BMW E39 business cd player that keeps spitting out the cds with the cd error message.?
Not sure if better to ask in AUDIO or BMW forum….I have tried running a cd to clean the player but it to gets ejected after the player has tried to read it. I have tried both original cds and burned cds but neither one is accepted and i get the same error. Do i need a new cd player?

A new CD player is in order.

It could be either the tracking system has failed or the reading laser.
