This was a question on the move”The Three Kings” This 1 guy said he wants a Lexus convertible, the other guy said they don’t make those. I agree that they don’t but I’m not sure, so… Does Lexus have a convertible car?

Toyota Motor Corporation is planning to recall 11,500 Lexus vehicles across the globe for problems related to steering. Mieko Iwasaki, a spokeswoman for the carmaker informed that Toyota plans to recall 7,000 vehicles overseas, including 3,800 in the U.S., and 4,500 units in Japan.

Over the years Toyota was strongly criticized for slow responses to safety problems.  However this time round Toyota Motor Corporation is working to react more quickly. Anthony Tribunella, Expert and Director of Operations at Auto Relief Group says, “It’s unfortunate that Toyota is once again in the news for wrong reasons, given the fact that it still faces hundreds of state and federal lawsuits in the U.S.”

The good thing though, is that the company wishes to demonstrate that it can respond rapidly to problems in its cars. Though this decision will affect the business, (Lexus being one of its best-selling models) it will certainly create a favorable impact in the automobiles market and help to maintain its reputation.

According to the new study released by Consumer Reports, Toyota is currently in the third position as the best carmaker. It seems Toyota is losing its position in the market.

The Lexus cars were facing steering problems and the decision to recall these cars may have raised many eyebrows. The recalls time and again are negatively impacting the image of the auto manufacturing giant. Toyota cannot afford to repeat its mistake; instead focus should be on improving manufacturing standards. Its time Toyota should try considering some active changes in its manufacturing strategy and show to the world that it’s a true champion.

Lexus is having a spring sale on several of the F-Sport accessory packages that offers for the IS and GS models. The packages include a 50 suspension lowering kit and a 95 kit that adds new wheels and tires to the package. For those who want to go all out, the top package runs 95 and adds in a brake upgrade with six-piston front calipers and cross-drilled 14-inch rotors. A set of four-pot calipers and 13.6-inch discs are provided for the rear corners. The sale price on that top package is a savings of 79. Lexus RX300 – 2001
You’ll find lots of new features on the 2001 used Lexus SUV. 2001 is the year that Lexus focused on additional safety with features like a vehicle skid control, a brake assist feature, a 3-point center rear seatbelt, and child safety seat anchors. Other improved features on the 2001 year used Lexus SUV are an alloy spare wheel (earlier used Lexus SUV models will have a steel spare wheel), an enlarged fuel tank, and a redesigned grill. You’ll find some different options when comparison shopping the 2002 used Lexus SUV as well, such as all black leather trim, a wood steering wheel and gearshift knob, and heated seats with dual warmth levels. Automakers are enjoying its sales figures in great parts of the globe. Moreover, one of the biggest leaping territories when it comes to automobile market is China. China’s luxury car market consists of Audi, Cadillac, Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Lexus, Porsche and Volvo. These automakers have benefited in the increase of market to more than 45 percent in just one year. The remarkable market growth has occurred in the early part of 2004 to the later part of 2005.

According to R. L. Polk & Co., a reliable provider of automotive information and marketing solutions, the most significant growth of the luxury market can be attributed to Jiangsu province which has created 84 percent increase. Next to Jiangsu is Guangdong, making 79 percent recorded growth in market. On the other hand, Zhejiang province also bagged a 54 percent increase.

The information about the remarkable growth of luxury car market in China was delivered by Stephen Polk, chairman, president and CEO of R. L. Polk & Co. at the International Forum of China Automotive Industry Development. His presentation of the information is intended to open new doors of opportunities to support Chinese automakers in developing strategies to boost the growing marketplace.

Polk said “We’ve studied the Chinese market very closely and can provide important business intelligence data to enable manufacturers to control some inevitable change. Building on our U.S. expertise, we are mindful of similarities, but well-educated on the unique customer behavior and automotive trends in China today.” Polk further noted “Chinese automakers must continue to strive for excellence in customer satisfaction and customer loyalty, while offering competitive prices. Both are critical to winning market share.”

On the other side of it, while the luxury car market has dramatically increased, the retail price of the top ten registered cars plummeted. The retail price was slashed to about 15 percent since 2005. The figures manifest the pressure behind the increase in the market and the automakers are finding it hard to adjust with the new flow of demands. It was also obvious that customers are opting for larger engines in their luxury cars. Moreover, it is expected that Audi, Cadillac, Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Lexus, Porsche and Volvo auto parts will be addressing this demand from its market.
