I am hoping to find some performance parts for a 2002 Lincoln LS V8, but all I can find is a Cat-Back exhaust. Does anybody know where to find parts like a cold air intake, computer tuner, maybe even headers, etc for this car? Believe it or not, this car is pretty sporty.

I first found out about these kits when my sisters 93 Lincoln Mark VIII rear bags failed. She asked me to have a look at it, to see if I could find the problem. After jacking the rear of the mark 8 up, allowing the bags to fully extend, I found that the bags were cracked and worn, causing them to leak. So I started doing some research and found that this was a common problem amongst Mark VIII owners. I talked to a man who had the same problem with his 94 Mark VIII, when he put his new bags in he found that his compressor was also bad from being overworked. This seemed to be a pretty common problem with other Mark VIII owners on forums and blogs.

The best solution I could find on these forums and blogs was to install a coil spring conversion kit. So I browsed around a few places, searching for one of these coil kits at an affordable price. I found one place that sells them for less than 0. I ordered my kit from there, it shipped fast, and they were good quality parts.

I cleaned and adjusted the points and filled the carb with gas through the float bowl vents. I then replaced the fuel line to the pump. The car runs good on 8 year old gas!

Anyone know if parts of the old roller coaster are still on the Lincoln Park property down in Dartmouth Mass? I’d like to photograph it before they tear it all down but don’t want to drive all the way there only to find it’s already gone.

The Film Society of Lincoln Center opens the 48th New York Film Festival September 24, running it through October 10, in New York City. The Festival includes main slate program selections along with special events, panel discussions, the experimental film showcase, Views from the Avant-Garde, and more. The Film Society of Lincoln Center was founded in 1969 to celebrate American and international cinema, to recognize and support new filmmakers, and to enhance awareness, accessibility and understanding of the art among a broad and diverse film going audience. One NYFF special event will be, Cameraman: The Life and Work of Jack Cardiff, screening with A Matter of Life and Death and Dracula (George Melford, Director) the 1931 Spanish-language version of the classic tale freshly accompanied by an eerie live solo guitar performance by guitarist, composer, and Grammy-nominated songwriter Gary Lucas.

Opening in Nashville September 27 and running into October 3, International Bluegrass Music Association Week, the annual business conference for the bluegrass music industry with artist showcases, an exhibit hall totaling more than 100 booths, professional development seminars, member constituency meetings, one-on-one networking, and more. From October 1-3, certain highlighted activities will be, Fan Fest, an indoor music festival featuring performances by some of the industry’s top acts, a Masters Workshop Stage, a Roots & Branches Stage, exhibit hall, and scores of jam sessions. Puces Pop Record Fair, will be a two day Record Fair in the Mile End featuring volumes of record collectors, instrument repairs and international and local indie record labels.
