1999 Mercury Grand Marquis Check Engine light came on. Went to auto parts store & they checked code which said that my #3 cylinder wasn’t firing but the code reader didn’t specify why. I imagine Ill need to check the coil, fuel injector & wires… I dont know how to “check” the coil, though. Any info?

a cylinder mis fire is caused by a bad plug or plug wire do a good tune up on it. that should fix it.
