I don’t know that much about it, I’m a Toyota fan!

There could be allot of reasons for that, not the least being budget concerns.. The engine also may have reliability issues.. Parts shortages.. Any number of things..

Well I think they are working on them and getting them ready, but they just don’t want to use them yet. I think thats why some of the other teams are basically being the lab rats on the track to see how the engine performs and what problems that may present. Rousch just wants to make sure that when he does go to the new engine that everything is taken care of as far as R&D goes, so he’s not the one suffering through the growing pains when problems arise. If they had a weak engine program without anything else, then I would say its a mistake and they need to get it put into place as soon as possible. But Rousch’s engines are still up to par with everyone else as far as performance and horsepower and I don’t think that’s why they are getting beat. The 48 beats everyone because of horsepower and handling and never making mistakes. So I just think that Rousch wants to make sure the new engine is spot on before he switches over from something that is pretty darn good right now. I don’t think its a mistake, but if he waits too long then it could become a mistake down the road. He doesnt want to get too far behind and he does need to get the new motors in his cars here pretty soon, just after some in race testing from the other teams.

There are supposedly parts shortages.
Little hard to believe when the engine been out since last summer………..
