Q&A: General Motors?

Question by Janice C: General Motors?
Looking long term, do you think that General Motors is a good investment at its current levels? I see that they are in some of the worlds emerging markets (BRIC) and with their flex fuel and hybrid cars coming out, it appears that they are thinking in the future. Or should I steer clear of auto makers with the state of the economy including ridiculous oil prices?

I think GM will fare better than the other US automakers, but you are right that the economy and price of oil is changing the way that people look at and buy cars.

From a price perspective it is at a pretty low point, so if the economy and oil come back in line relativity soon, then they could be in a good position for their stock to go up.

GM has seen ups and down. But I think it is a strong candidate. They are coming with great lineup. http://www.bdaportal.com/8301.html
