Innovative electric technology contributes to an excellent driving experience in Infiniti’s first hybrid. The Infiniti M35 HYBRID has zero CO2 emissions and is a result of Infiniti’s efforts in combating global emissions. A decoupling V6 engine with a 50 kW (68 PS) electric motor paired with the 7-speed automatic transmission result in a hybrid that can run longer and faster on the electric motor than conventional hybrids.

The M35 HYBRID has the fuel efficiency and CO2 emissions of a compact car while offering the acceleration and responsiveness of an authentic Infiniti luxury sedan. The technology used in the M35 HYBRID is called INFINITI DIRECT RESPONSE HYBRID technology.

The striking good looks, attractive cabin and international level features of the M35 HYBRID are backed by the power of a V6 engine and a one motor/two clutch system. The efficiency of the M35 HYBRID was measured in an arduous test and the results proved that the HYBRID can operate in electric mode with zero tailpipe emissions, for 50 % of the time. The space and luxury standards of the cabin can be described in one word as superlative. The M35 is also available in luxury GT trim, with classy leather upholstery and genuine wood trim.

Safety features include Blind Spot Intervention (BSI), “Forest Air” climate control system, Active Noise Control system among others. The M35 HYBRID is expected to arrive in the market by spring 2011.
