I think they were domestics loose in wild. They engage in thesse others animals cause of juvenile curiosity. But if they growed with their mon, this curiosity did not exist. The video of the anaconda is with the same jaguars, is other part of the same movie.

@moneykrazie1288 No, they don’t. This is a englishspoken documentary wich followed two young brothers jaguars, the black and the yellow one. They engage on other animals not because were encouraged by humans or cause were hungry. Only cause juvenile curiosity. They’re less than one year old, almost puppies.

The actual name of Jaguar is (Panthera onca). Black panthers from latin america are Black Jaguars (Panthera onca). The genus indeed is Panthera, but the species are different. Tiger, lion and leopard are also species from Panthera genus.

So it’s set up in a zoo? Cuz I was like WTF this same jaguar was in another video killing an anaconda. So they just made films of the jaguar killing animals??? Weird. But it’s crazy how cats r like that, they kill even though they aren’t gonna eat their kill.

These older movies are typically set up in zoo’s. Jaguars are hard to find and film so they would set up these situations.

This looks like a caiman to me which is no Crocodile! They are related to Alligators.

2.) …and how did they get this same black jaguar in another great video killing an anaconda. jaguars are notoriously hard to film. so the combo of spectacular footage in combination with solitary animals hanging out with eachother makes me think these were domestic animals that were set loose on wild animals or something fishy like that.

@XxpantericaxX : Jaguars are panthers, but all panthers are not jaguars. A tiger is also a panther. The black cat is a melanistic jaguar unless a leopard somehow relocated from Africa/Asia to South America just to fight a caiman.
