On the commercial auto application it asks if this is a service, commercial or retail vehicle. I know it’s not retail. But what’s the difference between a commercial vehicle and a service vehicle?

Service use are vehicles that transport the insurerd’s personnel, tools, equipment and incidental supplies to and from a job site. Vehicles are at the job site the majority of the day. Examples would be Carpenters, Electricians, and Insurance Agents.

Commericial is anything that is not Retail or Service but is primarily vehicles hauling property between businesses. (Retail are vehicles used to deliver property to individuals or households, such as store delivery trucks.)

I acquired a sami not too long ago, and it holds the special edition decals. A few of my buddies have them as well,but other models. I’ve looked all over the internet searching, forums,spec pages ect..and still have no idea why it’s the special edition. My friends JX edition is the same everything. The only thing i can think of would be the shocks,but then again I don’t know. Thx

In the 1980s car makers start using “SPECIAL EDITION” as a minor addition they have. It could be chrome on the bumper or carpet kit or power steering. These are marketing strategy over other company.
